Baby Desert Eagle II
The stainless 9mm Baby Desert Eagle arrived at my range yesterday and I couldn’t wait to check it out. Its ambidextrous decocker, in the shape of a teardrop, the slide, and precision match barrel with land-and groove makes this handgun has a great look. Also, it has superb ability to shoot accurately.
It’s not light, and weighs 38 ounces when empty. Its weight makes you feel that it’ll be tough and Buydeserteagle will not easily crack.
Lightweight
Baby Desert Eagle is a highly sought-after pistol among hunters of silhouettes and varmints. The gun is also a favorite of people who like the sensation of shooting a powerful handgun. Its full-size and compact model is now available in 9mm. This new model features an expanded dust cover that runs to the end of the slide. It gives an appearance similar to a handgun designed to handle highly high-powered cartridges. Additionally, the latest Desert Eagle is equipped with a longer grip frame or beavertail for better stability of the gun while shooting powerful cartridges.
In contrast to the earlier CZ 52, which had a decocker on the slide, this new Baby Desert Eagle has an ambidextrous teardrop decocking mechanism which activates a safety lever located in the left hand side of the grip, when depressed. It is the Baby Desert Eagle is now easier to use with the double-action trigger. However, the ability to fire an additional shot using the double action single trigger will still be obtained by pressing any one of the ambidextrous levers.
When held in the hand, the Baby Desert Eagle is a good-looking handgun that’s comfortable to shoot and hold. It can also be pointed at targets. The ergonomics of the gun are similar to John Moses Browning’s High Power, with good balance and a solid feel. The sights aren’t very precise, but they do offer it Baby Desert Eagle a lot of “pointability,” allowing you to reach right at the target, and then spit out leads with ease.
The barrel that is rifled in a polygon is another feature on the Baby Desert Eagle which makes it ideal for tactical uses. The rifling in this kind of barrel is a little more shallow, which makes it less harmful to bullets and creating a better air seal. This enhances the quality. This rifling type, however, does not work with bullets made of lead. It is only utilized for commercially-reloaded ammunition and fully-jacketed ammunition.
Baby Desert Eagle III Baby Desert Eagle III did excellently during the testing. It fired Hornady American Gunner 180-grain XTP load, Federal Premium Hydra-Shok 180 grain JHP, and Sig Sauer Elite Performance V-Crown JHP loads 165 grains with 2 inches or less of average grouping at 15 yards. Its recoil is fairly moderate, notably in firing high-pressure loads.
Accuracy
In shooting defensive handguns precision is a crucial component. On the level, it’s important to shoot a range that is 3 to 3.5 inches. The accuracy of this kind is very impressive and shows the Baby Desert Eagle II’s potential to shoot precise shots.
The pistol has a long, 3.9-inch barrel with polygonal rifle rifling. The rifling of this pistol is more recessed than the traditional one. According to the advocates the pistol causes less damage to projectiles, and also creates an effective gas seal. However, it’s not a good choice for lead bullets, and must be only used with lined ammunition.
The pistol’s full-sized frame makes it feel comfortable within your hand regardless of the 9mm cartridges loaded. It’s comfortable to carry due to its lightweight weight as well as a well-placed magazines and superb sights. Its trigger is sharp and smooth. Its safety is operated by either hand. The safety lock is located in the middle of the slide. It block the firing pin once engaged and pushing down releases it.
In the field it was a pleasure to shoot. Baby Desert Eagle proved to perform well and reliably when shooting in single or double action mode. Its relatively low bore axis with good optics and a smooth trigger made it an easy pistol to shoot. The pistol handled the recoil with ease and made shooting a joy for those with experience. It is also an excellent match for recoil sensitive shooters.
Baby Desert Eagle Baby Desert Eagle quickly re-aligned the sights during rapid-fire drills and recovered from recoil. The magazine latch is easily controlled, and its double-column magazine with tapered edges is made to be fast in introduction. In fact, the Baby Desert Eagle handles magazine changes as quickly and as effortlessly as other double-action first-shot pistol.
There is plenty of attention in the media on ultra-light and compact and all-steel pistols of the same size like this will forever have their place in law enforcement, military, and in personal security. Durability
It’s the Baby Desert Eagle, aside from its name and the appearance, is an ordinary handgun. The Baby Desert Eagle is an ordinary gun that spews lead like no other. It comes with the same attributes of a typical combat pistol, such as an ambidextrous magazine launcher and decocker and safety.
There are three sizes of chamberings available: 9mm, 40 S&W along with Buydeserteagle 45 ACP. I evaluated the complete size, steel-frame version of the Baby Desert Eagle III. It weighs an impressive 35 OZ. When loaded with 15 rounds. This pistol’s small counterpart weighs approximately an ounce and a half smaller.
Both models are based on the CZ-75 gun, one of the Czech pistol that was a rule-breaker when it was launched and is operating today. Israel Weapon Industries was one manufacturer of handguns that was influenced by the style of the CZ-75 but was not able to export it for export to its home country of the United States. IWI, which is now component of Magnum Research Inc. imports this firearm as the Baby Desert Eagle.
The design of the grip from IWI is more comfortable than the CZ-75. The grip is shaped in an oval design on the front frame, which is a good fit for the thumb. It helps give shooters a secure grip on the firearm. The handle’s heel is a little larger to protect hands from being struck by the slide when it’s extended.
The trigger is smooth and simple to operate no matter if the gun is fully loaded. It is simple to see with crisp and bright sights. Matthew Campbell, SCNG Specialist is impressed by the ability of the Baby Eagle to draw quickly from the Appendix, and then hit the target. It also features a strong taking down system. There are two small dots located at the rear of the slide and frame that can be pressed, and the slide will be able to move forward before sliding towards the left. The gun can be stripped for cleaning with ease.
Comfort
The term Desert Eagle is a reference to one among the most famous film guns from recent history. The massive, gas-operated rotating bolt pistols can take on anything from.357 Magnum to.50 AE cartridges, but the Baby Desert Eagle III seeks to achieve the same look within a compact package. It’s a dual action/single-action (DA/SA) which is a precision-rifled pistol with 9 millimeter,.40 S&W and.45 ACP. (Steel-frame versions only). It’s also equipped with a tactical rail for attachment of lasers and lights.
It is a great pistol to shoot. Baby Desert Eagle is a quite comfortable firearm to shoot. Even when loaded with +P hots it is possible to keep the recoil managed and triggers are fluid. This is much higher than the average gun for this price. High beavertails prevent “hammer cutting” and the magazine release sits directly on top of it’s grip frame.
In terms of handling, the Baby Desert Eagle is similar to the CZ 75 that it was modeled after, although slightly slimmer and lighter in its profile. The grip is made of polymer and has fingerstraps that are grooved to give better grip dry and wet conditions. The frame heel expands to help by ensuring stability and control. The magazine release levers are simple to control and can be operated by only one hand.
It’s the Baby Desert Eagle, as stated above, features rails for attaching lasers and lighting sources. This can be particularly beneficial for those who intend to frequently use the device. Another bonus is that it’s fully compatible with EAA Witness magazines. The only thing that might make some unhappy is it comes with a slide-mounted decocker/safety with dual levers, that can make it uncomfortable to use. But the issue isn’t a big issue.
This handgun is built to last. It’s a dependable and tough handgun designed to last. The price is also reasonable in comparison to other handguns. Its only downside is that it’s too bulky for many, and finding the right accessories for it might prove difficult.
